John’s practice focuses on estate planning, probates, special needs trusts, elder and long-term care issues, Medi-Cal and trust and estate administration. John’s interest in elder saw is attributed largely to his experience caring for his mother, who was afflicted with Lewy Body Disease in early middle age. He enjoys speaking and writing on elder law topics and is on the faculty of the American Institute of Philanthropic Studies.

John is married and has two boys. He enjoys reading, being outside with his family, playing beach volleyball and watching his boys play sports.
